Saved $345 with MX-2 Battery Conditioner

Last August, the very expensive battery in my van ran out of juice and would not crank the engine. I had purchased a small bottle of INOX MX-2 Battery Conditioner several weeks earlier on the recommendation of a friend who had some experience with the product and it was time to see if the stuff really worked. After putting 15 ml ( half an ounce ) in each cell, I put my charger on the battery just long enough to put enough juice in it to get the van started. I then drove the van for about 40 minutes on an errand out of town and when I returned, I stopped at the auto parts store and turned off the engine - I wanted to be ready to replace the battery if the MX-2 hadn't worked. When it started like it had a new battery, I drove away with a smile on my face and the $150 that I was prepared to pay for a new battery still in my pocket. Since then I have put MX-2 in my wife's car that had a 3+ year old battery that was getting weak and in my van's accessories battery (another $150 battery). So in the last 6 months I saved about $375 by using MX-2 battery conditioner in the 3 batteries in my 2 vehicles. As soon as spring comes around I'll be putting MX-2 in my riding mower's battery and feel certain that it will make it through another season or 2 or 3. For less than $30 for all 3 batteries, I have saved having to replace them and $375, a net savings of $345. I'm convinced!

Golf Course Savings Using INOX

This past year a Florida golf course tested two INOX products to see what value INOX MX-4 Lanox would have to the Club to reduce maintenance and labor and save electricity for battery charging.

Test 1. The club wanted to determine if applying MX-4 Lanox would protect the carts in the same way boaters were seeing benefits to using MX-4. Therefore they decided to test MX-4 on 15 of the 30 cart fleet and do a comparison. They sprayed the fiberglass body, rubber floor mats, plastic drink holders, rubber bumpers and wheel surounds, metal and aluminium wind shield frames, rain curtains and zippers and vinyl bag covers, and seats, then did nothing for a month to see if there was a difference between the two sets of carts. The first thing that happened was the members commented that the club must have bought new carts, the INOX MX-4 Lanox had restored all the surfaces to a 'like brand new' appearance. Second, 30 days later the MX-4 carts still looked brand new, the members still commenting on the 'new' carts, while the 15 untreated carts looked old. The lanolin in the MX-4 waterproofed the carts and even when they were washed off with the hose the Lanox didn't come off or dry out and kept the carts new looking. Now once a month the club reapplies MX-4 on the carts to keep them looking brand new which the members like.

Test 2. The MX-4 Lanox was also tested on the greens mower blades to see if the maintenance guys could clean the mowers less than once every green to prevent the grass clippings from getting on the greens. In the test, they found that they could cut three greens before they had to stop and wash off the mowers. The time to clean before cutting was reduced to 1/3 rd the time.

Test 3. This is the exact quote from the club manager speaking about the value of MX-2 Battery Conditioner. “I have a fleet of 2-3 year old golf carts. I was only getting 18 holes on a charge. After conditioning them with INOX MX-2, the carts are getting 45 holes on one charge and it has cut my recharge time by half!”

The club did not appear to have a second meter on the cart shack, however getting 2 1/2 times the rounds per charge would definitely reduce the cost of electricity for the club . . . possibly as much as $3000 to $4000 a year in savings.

Car Window Unstruck

My friend was telling me about how amazing these INOX products were so I bought a bottle of INOX MX-3 and tried it on my old run about car. The crank windows would not go up and down so I sprayed the handles and down into the window channels in the doors. The next day it was like they were brand new – up and down, up and down with no sticking or anything. INOX works! I bought some more for my friends to try because as I said, this INOX stuff really works!

Snow Falls Right Off

We normally don’t have lots of snow in our area of East Tennessee but in a month we’ve had two snows that were eight inches or more. I took my tractor with box blade to clean the 1,500 foot long driveway and every time I pushed the snow, I had to get out with a shovel and remove it from the blade because it stuck. I’d purchased some INOX MX3 which I’d used on sticking sliding glass doors and squeaky windows and decided to spray the blade to see if it would get the snow to slide off. I figured it couldn’t hurt! It didn’t hurt at all, the snow came off the blade every time I pushed it … no more climbing off the tractor! It was great!

No Rust on My Guns!

I am a hunter and saw your ad for a free sample and was curious about the INOX MX-3 so I ordered it to try. I did all the lubrication as usual but with MX 3 on my guns instead of what I had been using, then I went hunting. Of course, it rained so all the guns were wet most of the weekend. When I get back the first thing I have to do is get all the surface rust off to protect them, NOT with the INOX MX-3. All my guns looked just like they did Friday before I went hunting, no rust at all! Here is my order for more. I am going to give these extra cans to all my hunting buddies and will contact the local gun store . . . we want to have them stock INOX for us.

Another Door MX-3 Fixed!

It did it again!!! I told earlier how the INOX MX-3 fixed the doors that even the company maintenance people couldn't fix. This time I used the MX-3 on a pocket door that I had already bought all the replacement parts for. I figured I had nothing to lose so sprayed it on. I will be taking the parts back for a refund as it slides as good as new now.

Glue'd Bolts Come Right Off

I just used the INOX MX 3 yesterday, what an amazing product it is. I broke loose bolts that were bulldog glue'd on nearly 10 years ago and rusted completely over. I sprayed on the product and let it settle for 3 hours and came back out and broke the bolts loose and they came right off. I was amazed, you have a great product there.

Saved Time and Money with MX3

I am the maintenance manager for our plant. We produce vinyl siding products that require steam heat. The high pressure steam pipes have continuous heat and cool cycles that seem to fuse the 40 bolt stainless steel and aluminum connection collars together. Every 4 years we have to do maintenance on the steam system and must break loose all these bolt studs. Each time we break off 6 to 8 studs at each connection then have to drill them out to get the collar loose. I sprayed INOX MX 3 on the studs twice over two days and loosened EVERY stud without breaking any of them. It is the first time in the history of the plant that has ever happened. I am a believer, we saved at least $200 in labor that day, plus stopped alot of frustration by my maintenance guys by using INOX MX 3. This product makes my job much easier.

Old Kitchen Drawers

My HVAC supply company has been testing the goINOXgreen line of lubricants with impressive success so I took some INOX MX-3 home to try. We live in an older home and the wood drawers in our kitchen have been sticking and difficult to open for years. I sprayed all the slides but negelected to tell my wife. That evening when she was preparing dinner, she tugged on one of the heavy drawers. It opened so easily that if it hadn't had a stop, it would have fallen on her foot and probably broken it. So a warning to tell your family what you've inoxed . . . this stuff really works!!!

Dishwasher, Doors, Fire Place Doors, Clippers . . .DONE!!!

I went to my mothers home to diagnose the malfunctioning dishwasher. Flooded the kitchen last night. My first reaction was "gotta be the float". I opened it up, wrestled the machine screws out and removed the cover and the float. Sure enough, gunk and stuck. I had left the INOX MX-3 sample at my home. Drove home, got the sample and shot the float (let it sit), cleaned the gunk and sprayed the screws. Float works, put the screws back in with two fingers and started the cycle and mom is elated.

Now, the back sliding door wall has ticked me off for years in that it takes a middle linebacker to open and close it. Shot the tracks top and bottom. Mom went out to welcome our niece in and nearly fell out the door. It opened rather easily.

On to other areas of angst. Her fire place glass doors (which have never worked since the first night) were really bad. Quick spray and they flew open.

Medicine cabinet in my old bedroom. Done.

Bi-fold doors which divide the dining room that were a pain to open, done.

Returned home to a lovely dinner extolling the virtues of INOX and a son who needed a hair cut badly. I got my electric shears out and BZZZZZ- what a racket. These clippers are nearly a decade old and I was ready to replace them with a nifty new set from COSTCO. INOX? Quick spray, BZZZZzzzzzzz-hummmmm. Done.

Didn't Need a Locksmith

In the front of my business, there are windows and a commercial glass door. The only way I could open and close the door was from the inside since the key would no longer go into the lock. This meant that every morning and every evening I had to unlock or lock the door from the inside by entering or exiting from the back door. I was given a sample of INOX MX-3 and sprayed it into the lock. It worked! I can enter through the front door now. I thought I was going to have to call in a locksmith but MX-3 solved my problem. I've since sprayed it in all my locks and bought a can. I also plan to read up on all their other products.

Remove Stickers

In my job, I have paper work for many different clients and have plastic bins that I keep their files separated. I hate the stickers that they put on plastic and glass as it is almost impossible to get off easily. I tried spraying INOX MX-3 on the labels, let them sit a little while and they peeled right off! Fan is Good as New

I really like air movement when I'm sleeping so have a small oscillating fan that I have running at night. Then it started humming and stopped oscillating. I gave it a couple sprays with INOX MX-3 and now it goes back and forth with no noise. Amazing! I really thought Iwas going to have to buy a new fan. I also quilt a lot and have used the MX-3 on both my sewing machines as a lubricant with great results.

Finally the Door Works!

When we were building our new home I really wanted good quality doors and windows. We bought from a company you would recognized the name but I don't want to say who (I don’t think I’d get in trouble but I’m not saying). The sliding glass door was installed correctly but I needed two hands and all the strength I could muster to open it. The company repair people came out twice but it really didn't improve operation. I tried INOX MX-3 on it and it glides open. I love this stuff!!!

Shot 100's of Rounds

Recently I volunteered to assist the instructor at a woman's basic gun safety clinic which included classroom and firing line instruction. Prior to attending, I cleaned a couple of my pistols and lubricated them with Inox Products (INOX MX-3 and INOX MX-4) and then, thankfully took the bottles with me to the shoot as there were also five brand new pistols on loan that all required lubricating prior to shooting. The women shot hundreds of rounds and then the helpers got to shoot hundreds of rounds. The INOX lubricant performed terrifically! The most popular pistols required a reapplication midway through the day and after a quick spray to the mechanical parts were back on the firing line. These are good products and I plan on purchasing more.

Wheel Bearing Report

The photos shown below are of 2 wheel bearings out of the same wheel hub of a rental car from one of Australia's major car, bus and truck rental company.

Both bearings had been installed in the wheel hub for approximately 12 months before the hub was pulled down for inspection and this is what was found to be the problem. Both bearings are of the same quality standard. Both bearings were disassembled and washed in Perchloroethylene (an evaporating solvent) and allowed to dry and then photographed.

The first bearing was lubricated with a supposedly high quality imported grease from the USA.
As you can see from the photo, the bearing spindle has about 80% of the hard cased bearing surface stripped away and the bearing rollers are in not much better shape.

CAUSE: The grease used on this bearing was of such poor quality lubrication-wise that it totally failed, causing the bearing to overheat and tear away the hard cased bearing surface and in turn destroy the bearing rollers.

The second bearing was lubricated with INOX MX-8 EP Grease with PTFE.

As you can see from the photo, there is absolutely no wear with this bearing, it's as good as the day it was fitted.

i.e. Each bearing was treated equally when they were disassembled and were only washed in solvent, allowed to dry and then photographed.

Bearings Haven't Failed in 2 Years!

Stopped Bread Machine Vibration

My bread machine has been a workhorse for about 15 years, but the parts have become stiff and sluggish. It had gotten to the point where the machine vibrated so much in the kneading stages that it would walk across my countertop. Yesterday, as I prepared to make my favorite Pumpernickel Bread recipe, I decided to borrow the INOX MX-3 from my husband's tool cabinet, remembering it is a food-safe lubricant. I sprayed the mechanism at the bottom of the housing which rotates the mixing paddle, as well as the bottom of the bread box where the mixing paddle shaft is connected. It had a chance to work in for about 10 minutes while I measured out my ingredients. Boy did it run smoothly - and stayed put on the counter through the entire cycle. It's like having a new bread machine!

After 10 Years the Step Works

For 10 years, the automatic step by the motorhome door would not work without pulling the dirty step out by hand. I sprayed INOX MX-4 on the step parts and the next day when I opened the door, the step popped out all by itself, just like brand new. The MX-4 cut through all the grime, rust, salt, and dirt build up because the MX-4 is waterproof it will just keep on working great Next I did the hinges, springs, cables, pins and latches on my race car trailer and the next day when I opened the ramp, it came down so easy that it surprised me. I don't think it ever worked that good! MX-4 is the best lube I have ever used.

Grandma's Old Rocker

Grandma's old rocker always squeaked. Whenever we had a family reunion, someone would comment that the chair sure made a lot of noise. I happened to have a can of INOX MX-12 Supa Lube in my car and got it to spray on the wood parts that rubbed. You are suppose to wait 24 hours but we waited only 5 minutes and the squeak stopped. My contractor brother-in-law said, "I never knew you could lubricate wood." We were all amazed!

Restored My Electric Drill

The old Milwaukee electric had a hand chuck on it that froze up. To get a bit in or out of the drill, I'd have to use vice grips and channel locks. The last time it stuck, I even burred it trying to break it loose. I sprayed INOX MX-3 on it, waited a day and the chuck spins free in my hand as soon as I pulled the trigger. This stuff is amazing. I saved myself $150 since I can keep using my old drill.

Made My Wrench Good As New

I had this old cresent wrench in my tool box that just wouldn't work. I even soaked it in oil for a week. Since it as a Sears wrench I could have taken it back but I never did. I sprayed INOX MX-3 on it and the next day the wrench worked better than new. I was so impressed with how good the MX-3 was that I went around the house and sprayed all the door locks, hinges, and windows that were hard to open. MX-3 fixed everyone of the problems I had. I'd recommed INOX to everybody. All the other lubes I've used don't even compare.

Revitalized Old Guns

My grandfather gave me his BB gun when I was a kid and it is now over 70 years old. It rusted up over all these years and wouldn't work anymore. I sprayed INOX MX-3 on it and the next day, the rust was gone and it works fine. Then I tried it on my valuable pistol made in 1911 and the MX-3 cleaned it all up and took a hundred years of old grime and powder residue completely off. MX-3 is amazing!

Dehuminifier Bearings and Fan Motor

"My Father and I were working on a dehumidifier that hasn't worked well for 15 years. It was extremely loud, made a lot of vibration noises, etc... When we finally got the unit apart, the coil's circulation fan, motor, & shaft were so corroded and tight it couldn't be turned. Now my father is not a "gimmicky" kind of guy and still had reservations about using INOX, suggested using copious amounts of "WD" products instead, but admitted he didn't know what much good that would do since it'd just dry-up. Well, we tried spraying some INOX MX-5 on all points of contact, the shaft, and the corroded portions of very the small bushing bearings. Within 60-seconds (yes, I really timed it), the housing freely spun as did the fan & shaft. Keep in mind this is in 38 degree Chicago weather!" We've got a believer/convert out of one use, of just one of the INOX products. Now he is using our INOX on the compressor for this unit as well as, all the rings, seals, and hoses. Restoring a 32 year old machine into a smoother cooler running, quiet, efficient unit saving them the purchase price of getting a new one."

Ceiling Fan Repair

We had some ceiling fan motors that were a little louder than normal. I grabbed some INOX MX-3 and went to spray it into the motor vents on the bearings. I thought my brother (a contractor & home insurance adjuster) was going to have a heart-attack thinking the fan was about to burst into flames! I calmly sprayed it in. Out came a bunch of grime and dust and the fan is running like it came out of the box. I explained that MX 3 is non-conductive and anti-static. He's now going to recommend all his insurance clients and homeowners doing re-modeling projects that they keep a can of INOX MX-3 in every kitchen and garage.

It is now 13 months since I first contacted you in regard to my solar batteries, forming sediment on the bottom and getting close to shorting out the batteries. You recommended your INOX MX-2 Battery Conditioner and suggested the dosage.

Burring on Welder’s Metal Cut

Problem: After welding metal, burrs must be removed taking additional time.

Application: Apply INOX MX-3 on the cut line and the deburring grinding time will be drastically reduced.

Solution: The MX-3 does not hinder the cutting and almost eliminates the burring on the metal that has been cut.

Batteries on Trolling Boats

Problem: The batteries on our fishing boat’s trolling motors are generally recharged when the boat is at the dock, since many of the boats do not have generators on board. Our operation time during use was going down at a rate of 2% a month so trolling times got shorter and shorter while the recharge time kept going up. The old solution was to replace batteries which added cost and drove profits down.

Application: We treated the boat batteries a with a simple process by adding the INOX MX-2 Battery Conditioner to the batteries just as you would add water to a low cell, and it revitalized the batteries.

Solution: Trolling times increased from 1 hour to 3 or 4 hours…sometimes up to 6 hours.

We found that the batteries were lasting much longer, making the fishermen happy, and recharging was much faster cutting our electric expense. The MX-2 reversed the batteries decline, and returned them close to new specs. We now add MX-2 to every new battery to extend its life to 2 or 3 times the manufacturer’s warranty.

Underwater Boat Damage

Problem: The hull and underwater running gear on boats operated in salt water face a double whammy, the corrosion of the environment and the growth of sea life on any exposed surface. The cost of the corrosion is obvious and the sea growth causes drag that decreases fuel efficiency and performance.

Application: INOX MX-4 Lanolin Grease provided the solution to our problem. Coating all underwater surfaces with it provides a non-toxic answer to both the corrosion and growth.

Metal Bending

Kart Racing

Problem: Kart racers, like all racers face mechanical failures caused by dirt, corrosion and wear. All mechanical failures mean you don’t win, and poor lubrication costs speed…another no win.

Application: We spray and wipe down INOX MX-3 lubricant on all parts of the kart; we wipe MX-3 on the kart body to reduce after race clean up, lubricate the throttle linkage and cables because the MX-3 eliminates sticking, and coat aluminum engine parts to protect them from white rust, corrosion and pitting. MX-3 penetrates into the metal and reduces friction which means we are saving money because we don’t have to replace parts as often. Gears and chains now last a season not just a month.

Solution: INOX MX-3 is a superior surface lube compared to all the others we’ve used because it does not dry out, doesn’t become tacky and gummy in dirty and dusty track conditions, and MX-3 protects all the surfaces of the kart… we now wouldn’t race without it. $10 is far cheaper for us than a $500 to $1,000 engine rebuild. Best of all we win using INOX MX-3.

Protecting Electronics on Fishing Boats

Problem: The electronics and wiring on all fishing boats are subject to one of the most extreme and harsh environments known to man. Boaters invest huge sums to stop water and salt damage and corroded connections that can literally dissolve circuit boards. Short circuits can cause engine failures, radio and navigational outages, and very expensive repairs and replacements.

Application: We apply a light coat of INOX MX-4 LANOX to the wiring, electronics, connectors and even the digital display screens. LANOX MX-4 is non-conductive, doesn’t dry out, provides a lubricant surface that causes moisture to simply run off and because it is lanolin based instead of solvent based, it does not adversely affect the components. Fishing Reel Drag

Problem: Our fishing reel drags were surging, sticking or not operating at all and if they got wet they would hydroplane like an automobile on wet pavement.

Application: INOX MX-6 Food Grade Machinery Grease
We applied the MX-6 to the cork surface on the reel drag, as well as on all the interior reel gearing to protect them from corrosion, rust, and binding.

MIG Welding

Problem: Welders have the MIG wire jam or bind in the tip when welding causing a blow out and a ruined tip.

Application: Apply INOX MX-3 to a small felt pad on the wire feed which will stop the wire from jamming.
